3412612 - Error:"No valid planning data exists for product : in site XX" while Creating a Stock Transfer Order

System throws error message while creating stock transfer order.

"Error while saving requested item"

"No valid planning data exists for product : in site XX"(XX being Ship to Site ID)

1. Go to Outbound Logistics Control work center and select Customer Demand view.
2. Under Common Task choose New stock transfer order view.
3. Enter Ship from Site: AA and ship-to Site: XX(AA being Ship from Site ID, AA being Ship to Ship-to)
4. Enter the product ID with required quantity.
5. Perform save and system throws error the above-mentioned error.

Since the planning data is not maintained for ship to site XX, system is throwing an error.

To create stock transfer order, planning data must exist for both ship-to and ship-from site in product master data.

Maintain planning area under planning tab in product master data for the relevant product, to do so

1. Go to Product Portfolio - By Materials and select Edit and view all.
2. Select the Planning tab, and under Planning area, Add row and maintain the Area.

Once done, create a new stock transfer order.
