The data is not shown correctly in Geo Map when using a Choropleth / drill layer in SAP Analytics Cloud

SAP Analytics Cloud 2023.21

1. Create a story based on a Live HANA model. (The Live model has the Geo location dimension defined and can be used in Geo Map)
2. Add a Geo Map and using Bubble layer.
3. Set the location dimension and confirm data is present correctly.
4. Now change the layer to be Choropleth / drill layer.
5. Set the location dimension. However find some data is not present in the Geo Map. But the data is existing in the HANA View data source.

The issue is a known limitation. More details please refer to 3154257 - Default Shapes for the Choropleth layer do not cover all locations on maps in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

The way the shapes were chosen was based on a tradeoff between file size and resolution.  The larger the file size, the slower the performance, both in the backend spatial calculations and the rendering of the shapes on the map.

For live connections you can provide your own shape instead of using the default ones (See help docs here).  However for acquired data (import data sources) it is not possible to use a custom shape at this time.
