3413239 - Missing data in the billing plan of service contract item

Symptom

In 'Billing Plan' assignment block of a service contract item, the following columns are empty:

  • Settlement Start Date
  • Settlement End Date
  • Billing Date
  • Time Zone

Environment

  • Service Management (CRM)
  • SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition All versions 

Resolution

  1. Logon with the business role 'SAP_BR_CUSTOMER_SRVC_MGR' assigned.
  2. Open app Manage Service Contract and select the service contract.
  3. Click on the “Edit” button for the service contract item with issue.
  4. Go to “Billing” assignment block.
  5. Choose any option for “Payment Method” (or “Billing Block Reason”) field, don’t save.
  6. Go to “Billing Plan” assignment block to check values in the empty columns are displayed now.
  7. Set the “Payment Method” (or “Billing Block Reason”) value back to the original one.
  8. Save the service contract.
  9. All changes are recorded and displayed in the Change History assignment block; you may find that values of the following fields are redetermined:
    • Gross Value in Service Contract Item Details assignment block: Gross Value equals to the sum of gross value of all billing request lines.
    • Tax Amount in Service Contract Item Details assignment block: Tax Amount equals to the sum of tax amount of all billing request lines.
    • Tax Departure Country.
    • Departure Region.
