3413858 - Invoices are not reflected in the Report: Profit Overview by Key Figure

Symptom

You want to check the revenue data of Invoice XYZ(XYZ Refers to Invoice) via Report: Profit Overview by Key Figure, however no data is found for the invoice even though its Posted and Journal Entry is successfully created.

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign

Reproducing the Issue

Navigate to Business Analytics work center
View Design Report and search for Report: Profit Overview by Key Figure
Open the report and Enter the relevant data and you see XYZ is missing from the report with data provided

Cause

Eventhough the JE is created for the Invoice, when the Functional Area is not determined and is blank, so the invoice is not reflected in the report.

Resolution

Check the Journal Entry for other Set of books(in case of multiple set of books present) and if other SoB has Functional area determined, invoice will be available in report. Else check why Functional area determination didn't happen. More details on the same can be found in below help documents.
