3413923 - Why isn't there a function to generate official document numbers for the company code

There isn't a function to generate official document numbers for the company code and ODN is discontinuous.

You can use the configuration activity Activate Document Numbering for Company Code (SSCUI: 101073) to activate the function of generating official document numbers for a company code.

• If the Activate checkbox is selected.
  The function of generating ODN for a company code is activated. When a new accounting document is created for the given company code, the system automatically generates an official document number for that at the time of posting.
• If the Post-Generate checkbox is selected.
  When a new accounting document is created for the given company code, there is no official document number generated. The system generates the official document number only when you run the Accounts Document Output - China app. It is recommended to use this option to generate official document numbers.
