3414234 - Schedule Distribution Fails to Send in PDF Format

Symptom

The scheduled distribution finishes successfully but no PDF files are sent out:

  • The distribution logs shows an error "the PDF file is still locked!#".
  • When trying to print the workbook to PDF in Excel, a window pops up with the message "Microsoft Information Protection".
