3414263 - Item Status of Rejected Purchase Order Appears In Preparation

You have Rejected the purchase order however the item status appears as In Preparation. 

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Purchase Requests and Orders work center 
2. Go to Purchase Orders view
3. Select the relevant Purchase Order 
4. Select Edit and navigate to Items tab
5. You can see that header status is Rejected however item status appears as "In Preparation". 

This is the expected standard behavior.

When you reject the purchase order, system sets the item status to In Preparation only.

It cannot be set as Rejected as there is no item status available.

More over status can be set to canceled, only when the purchase order is Ordered.
