• When logging into SuccessFactors, a pop-up message shows the error message "An application error occurred. Please try again later, or copy the below error information and send it to your support group if the issue keeps occurring." InternalMessage=Failure to load pageMetaData
  errorMessage=Service /odata/v2/restricted/_PageMetaData_/getPageMetaData?moduleId=HOME&useAbsPaths=false&pageId=HOME_TAB&pageQualifier=HOME_V4&achComponent=LOD-SF-PLT-LHOM&isPXTimedPushSurveyEnabled=true&supportedFioriVersion=4 gave 500
• Error 'Please add only one entry for an application' when accessing Assertion Consumer Service Page.

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

1. Login to the system
2. Error Message is displayed

• MDF Cache must be refreshed
• No entries in the Assertion Consumer Service page

1. As a first option, try to clear MDF cache, as per KBA 2534674 - How To Schedule MDF Object Definition to DB Sync and Fix Inconsistencies In Metadata Framework  and run the MDF Object Definition to DB Sync job
   
   
2. Later check if there is an empty entry under Assertion Consumer Service page in Provisioning. If there is, make sure the entry is deleted. You can do this following reference KBA 3391826 - Authorized SP Assertion Consumer Services (ACS) UI in Admin Center. If you do not have access to the Provisioning page, raise a case in LOD-SF-PLT, providing authorization to delete the empty field. Be aware that after deleting the entry, it will appear again, it is expected, but the issue will be resolved.
