3414729 - Error: System Error During SOAP Processing In Web Service Message Monitoring

Symptom

The error Soap Fault: 'Authorization role missing for service' occurs in Web Service Message Monitoring.

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Application and User Management work center.
  2. Go to Web Service Message Monitoring view.
  3. Use Filter "Erroneous".

Observe the error "System error during SOAP processing" under QueryCustomerIn service interface.

Cause

Communication Arrangement is custom created from UI - it's a bundle of standard A2X services. The user (Technical User) who triggered the call does not have proper authorization to the service.

Resolution

The user has to reactivate or create a new Communication Arrangement in order to resolve the issue.
