3415181 - SAC Tunnel connection to S4HANA does not work due to misconfigured RFC Destination (t-code /IWFND/ROUTING)

Symptom

An existing (or new) Tunnel connection to S4HANA On-Premise system does not work, throwing the error message:

  • Unable to authenticate. Please ensure you credentials are valid.

You already ensured that connection info follows prerequisites and steps from Live Data Connection to SAP S/4HANA On-Premise Using a Tunnel Connection | SAP Help Portal  

  • When accessing https://<Your_ABAP_Server>/sap/bw/ina/GetServerInfo?sap-client=<Your_Client_ID>, faced below error
