3415558 - Navigation is not working in BI Java portal in Edge Version starting 118/119 & Chrome after version 115/116.

Symptom

BEx reports & Broadcaster not working while using Chrome browser version 115/116 or Edge version starting 118/119:

  • BEx Reports are not opening.
  • When clicking a button or link, nothing happens, or a blank page opens.
  • Navigations that open pop-up windows don't work (Example: when scheduling Information Broadcasting, publishing new Web Templates from Web Application Designer in the portal ).
  • Inactive buttons “greyed out”.
