3415880 - Enable Automatic Creation of Customer Role for Employment BP

You want to create a customer role automatically for employment BP for the workforce persons who are replicated using SAP Master Data Integration for a specific country.

You had to manually create a customer role for the required workforce persons.

Prerequisites:

• Payment and address details are maintained for the workforce person in the source system.
• The workforce person has an active work assignment.

There are two configurations you can use to enable the automatic creation of a customer role for employment BPs.

These are the configuration steps for creating a customer role for a country code:

1. Log on to SAP Fiori launchpad in the SAP S/4HANA Cloud system as a Configuration Expert - Business Process Configuration (SAP_BR_BPC_EXPERT).
2. Open the Manage Your Solution app.
3. On the Configure Your Solution screen, filter the list using the following values:
   • Application Area: Human Resources
   • Subapplication Area: Organization
   • Item Name: Value Mappings
4. On the Configure Your Solution: Value Mappings screen, choose the Configuration Steps tab.
5. Search for Allow Creation of Customer Role (FLCU00) for BP and choose Configure.
6. Choose New Entries.
7. Enter the country code and select the Create Customer Role Automatically option.
8. Choose Save.
   Note
   If the configuration described above is enabled for a specific country, then the employment BP corresponding to the specific work agreement for that specific country has the customer role. For example, if the configuration is enabled only for the DE country code (and not for the US country code), then the employment BP created for the DE work agreement has the customer role. However, the employment BP created for a US work agreement does not have the customer role.

These are the configuration steps to map the reconciliation account for the customer role:

1. Log on to SAP Fiori launchpad in the SAP S/4HANA Cloud system as a Configuration Expert - Business Process Configuration (SAP_BR_BPC_EXPERT).
2. Open the Manage Your Solution app.
3. On the Configure Your Solution screen, filter the list using the following values:
   • Application Area: Human Resources
   • Subapplication Area: Organization
   • Item Name: Value Mappings
4. On the Configure Your Solution: Value Mappings screen, choose the Configuration Steps tab.
5. Search for Map Reconciliation Account for Customer Role and choose Configure.
6. Choose New Entries.
7. Enter the company code and reconciliation account.
8. Choose Save.
