3416339 - Consuming Analytic Models via ODBC

Important facts when considering using AM (Analytic Model) from SAP Datasphere via ODBC using OpenSQL Schema / Space Database User.

SAP Datasphere

1. Analytic Models are originally not intended to be consumed using ODBC.
   These objects contain specificities that can only be processed by the Multi Dimensional Engine (MDS) in SAP HANA Cloud, which is not part of regular SQL processing.
   
   
2. Each analytical model is reflected by multiple generated calculation views which contain the original technical name of the analytic model with some generated suffixes.
   If consuming these calculation views, be aware that the result may be different as consuming the model in the AM's Data Preview or using SAP Analytics Cloud.
   
   
3. With regards to visibility, there is no difference between the analytic models. All of them are exposed for consumption (otherwise they could not be consumed using SAP Analytics Cloud).
   Therefore also visible to the SQL users.
   
   
4. Some objects with the prefix QP may exist. These are temporary objects which are removed after one day.
   They get created during preview of analytic model while the model is not yet deployed/was modified in between.
