Reproducing the Issue

  1. Login into SAC.
  2. Go to stories.
  3. Open the story in issue >> the story works as expected as long as the default Date hierarchy is used
  4. Go to Builder and change the default Date hierarchy
    >>Accounts with Lookup Previous formula do not work

  • This behavior is by design.
  • The date defined in the story must match the date definition of the model, so if in the model, this is set to (Fiscal Year, Quarter, Period), this is what is expected at story level.  If levels are changed in the story, results may not be seen.
  • If the customer wants this changed to Fiscal Year, Period, then the date definition should be updated on the model first and then the story.
