3416397 - Create Planning File Entries App gets error "An error occurred. Please create an incident on component PP-MRP."

Symptom

Below error occurs when creating planning file entry in app 'Create Planning File Entries '.
"An error occurred. Please create an incident on component PP-MRP".

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud

Cause

In the parameter of the job, the length of the specified material number is longer than 18 digits.
E.g. there is asterisk added.

For numeric material number, the length should not be longer than 18.

Resolution

Make sure that the length of the numeric material number is less than 18 digits.
