3416454 - Communication after Update ERiC is not working

Symptom

After updating ERiC as described in SAP Notes 3411233 and 3397293, the test report in the connected HR system displays the error: "No ERIC version query PI/PO possible" instead of displaying the Eric version.

The update is executed with SUM

The directory /usr/sap/SID/J##/j2ee/os_libs/eric/bin is empty.

The below error log can be seen in the diagnostic traces:

Message processing failed. Cause: com.sap.fin.eric.wrapper.exception.WrapperException: ericapi not loaded! Check whether it is deployed successfully in .../os_libs/eric/bin directory!
