3416469 - Production Models Released Unsuccessfully by Production Model Release Run

Production Model Release Run ID XXX releases the Production Model ID YYY with error: "Production Models released unsuccessfully ". (XXX represents the Production Model Release Run ID; YYY represents the Production Model ID)

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Planning and Production Master Data work center.
2. Select Production Model Release Run view.
3. Search for Run ID XXX.
4. Open the Application Log with error.
5. Go to Results tab.
6. Click Expand All.
7. See error message: "Production Models released unsuccessfully".

The Production Model ID YYY already has a Released Execution Model and some changes have been made to the corresponding BOO or BOM later. But the Release Production Model checkbox has not been checked when creating the run in first step. If the indicator is not selected, the production models get checked for consistency and would not be released. 

Follow the below steps to check the checkbox of Release Production Model in Production Model Release Run XXX:

1. Go to Planning and Production Master Data work center.
2. Select Production Models view.
3. Search for the Production Model YYY.
4. Click Edit button.
5. Check the checkbox of Release Production Model under Bill Of Operation subtab.
