3416500 - Error: "Start date must not overlap with another planned period" during Project Migration

You are migrating a project using migration tool. When you are executing the import, you meet error: Start date must not overlap with another planned period.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Business Configuration work center -> Overview.
2. Search for activity: Prepare for Data Migration and open it.
3. Click on the hyperlink: Download Migration Templates.
4. Select "Projects" and click on "Download" button.
5. Fill in the template accordingly (the template is .xml, open it in Excel). 
6. Go back to Business Configuration work center -> Overview.
7. Search for activity: Migration of Projects and open it.
8. Click on the hyperlink: Migrate projects using the migration tool.
9. In Migrate Projects screen, click on "Upload"->"Data from Migration Template".
10. Choose the template file and upload it.
11. Click on "Execute Migration"->"Execute Migration Step by Step".
12. At step 3: Simulate Import or step 4: Execute Import, there is error: Start date must not overlap with another planned period.

The template file contains duplicate work records with same Start Date and End Date, so they are overlapping each other.

Method 1:

1. Open the template file, navigate to "Work" sheet 
2. Keep only one combination of Service ID & Team Member & Start and End Date.
3. Reupload the edited template file and execute rest steps.

Method 2:

1. Stay at Migrate File screen.
2. Click on "Edit Source Record" and remove redundant records with combination of Service ID & Team Member & Start and End Date.
3. Save and close, click on "Import File"->"Import not imported records".
