3416612 - Error Occurs While Trying to Download the Customer Project Overview Report

You are getting an error message while trying to download the customer project overview report. 
Error - Failed to open report "Internal Server Error" - Report an incident

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Business Analytics work center
2. Go to Design Reports view
3. Search for Customer Project Overview report
4. Filter report with status and Execute
5. Try to Download in XML or CSV format
6. Error appears

Usually the error can be raised in the following circumstances:
- The number of records that is requested in the report is too high.
- The report is running out of memory due to the number of records that are processed in combination with the modeling of the custom data source / report.
- The report is running for too long and results in a time-out.

The easiest way to avoid the error is to reduce the amount of records with a selection on some variables in the report (Edit Selection tab). For example, if a report crashes when selecting data for a full year, try to run it in two packages (one package for the first half of the year and one package for the second half).
