3416629 - The error /SCWM/DELIVERY572 happens when deleting an EWM inbound delivery - S/4HANA Cloud

While deleting a inbound delivery document in EWM, the following error happens: Successor documents exist. Deletion not allowed for document type &1, Message no. /SCWM/DELIVERY572.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition 

1. Go to Change Inbound Deliveries APP;
2. Open the delivery document in your warehouse;
3. Click in the grey trash button ("delete" button);
4. See the error message described in the symptom of this KBA.

It is a designed behavior because the delivery's document type and document category has "Del. with Follow-up" as "Disallowed" in the below customizing:

With "Del. with Follow-Up" as "Disallow", deleting a delivery document is not allowed if something was already executed (even if completely reversed, e.g. GR is posted then it is reversed). 

Solution 1: Change "Del. with Follow-Up" to be "Allowed" for the process profile.

Find your delivery's header process profile via the below customizing:

Please note if setting "Del. with Follow-Up" as "Allowed", there will be risk of losing the connection between follow-up documents, like the goods receipt and the goods receipt cancellation, and the warehouse request. To enable complete traceability from an SAP EWM goods movement document back to the ERP documents, activate the full tracking option, do not allow the deletion of the SAP EWM warehouse request. Consider using Solution 2.

Solution 2：Change the delivery's items' quantities to 0.
