Symptom

When trying to terminate user via Termination UI the following error is showed: 

Unexpected state of the system. If problem persist please contact administrator.

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central
  • Termination

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Employee profile
  2. Click on Terminate
  3. Fill data and try to save.

Result: Unexpected state of the system. If problem persist please contact administrator. 

Cause

Engineering team is investigating the cause of the problem.

Resolution

Please track this KBA for new updates. 
As temporary workaround please terminate user via Import as described in following KBA: 2511979 - Employee Central: How Do I Terminate Employees via Import?

Support Engineers please check internal memo.
