3416821 - Error on saving dependents portlet

Error on adding the dependent record in dependent portlet. 

Error: " xyz is not the expected value for 'standardA' because you selected customB. Please select a valid 'customB'  or select a different value for field 'customB'." 

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central: Dependents UI

1. Navigate to user profile. 
2. Navigate to Dependents portlet. 
3. Fill all the details. 
4. Click Edit Details > Navigate to Biographical information. 
5. Select a value for field - standardA & customB.
6. Click on save > Error is shown.

The error shown is a result of the incorrect parent-child picklist association between the standard and custom string fields in the biographical information.

1. Go to Manage Business Configuration > personInfo. 
2. Create person type > Select Dependents > Save. 
3. Disable these fields standardA and customB. 
4. Click on Save.

Note: This error message is an expected validation as custom-string fields are not supported for biographical information UI in dependents portlet ( please check - 2565700). So to resolve the error, create person-type in Biographical Information with personInfo_dependent and disable these fields for dependents.
