3416997 - Error "Couldn't refresh the data" appears when refreshing an import job consuming data from S/4HANA system in SAP Analytics Cloud.

• When refreshing an import job, or creating a new one, consuming data from S/4HANA system the following error message pops-up:
  
  "Couldn't refresh the data".
  
  
• On the Data Timeline panel, it is possible to see the message:
  
  "The requested system is not allowed by the SAP Cloud Connector (SCC). Check the configuration on SCC and ensure access is granted to the system".
  
  
• The same happens when creating a new model, but the error that pops up is:
  
  "<NAME>Query has failed to upload because of an error in the plugin service."
  
  
• However, when creating a new model using the same query, but adding filters to it, the model can be successfully created.

SAP Analytics Cloud (Enterprise) 2023.16.4

1. Log on to SAP Analytics Cloud.
2. Go to Modeler and open the affected model.
3. Switch to the Data Management tab.
4. Look for the affected job consuming data from S/4HANA system and refresh it.
   >> Note the error message that pops up: "Couldn't refresh the data."
5. Select the job and open the Data Timeline panel.
   >>Note the message: "The requested system is not allowed by the SAP Cloud Connector (SCC). Check the configuration on SCC and ensure access is granted to the system."
6. Go back to the main screen.
7. From the left side menu, go to the Modeler.
8. Create a new model from S/4HANA data source.
9. Choose the Connection and click "Next".
10. Search for the query and select the desired one.
11. Add some data to build the query and click "Create".
    >>Note the error message that pops up: "<NAME>Query has failed to upload because of an error in the plugin service."

From the Payload trace (traffic_trace_<account id>_on_<landscapehost>.trc) it is possible to see that the request is being sent to the wrong host, which is not mapped as a virtual host in the Cloud Connector.

1. Use the same virtual and internal host on SAP Cloud Connector
2. Use this host in the S/4HANA connection on SAP Analytics Cloud.
