3416999 - How to manually define new password for Database User on Space-Level

Symptom

After creating a Database User on Space-Level, it might be required to specify a password manually.
Some possible reasons can be listed:

  • To connect SAP Datasphere into a SAP NetWeaver, e.g. SLT (SAP Landscape Transformation Replication Server), the default password generated by Datasphere's UI is too long.
    Therefore a shorter password needs to be defined;
  • Less complex password is required.
