3417295 - Standard Report Competitors by No. of Deals shows less Opportunities

Symptom

You are using standard report "Competitors by No. of Deals" and notice it does not shows all Opportunities

Environment

Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

Go to Business Analytics
Open Design Reports and search for "Competitors by No. of Deals"
Execute the report and you could see that only few opportunities are available in the data of the report as compared to total opportunities present in the system

Cause

There are certain restriction by default added in the report by the Opportunity Dev team.
Type: Fixed
Restriction: Lost
Also other restrictions e.g. for Close Date and Employes Responsible, too.

Resolution

Due to default restrictions the results are sorted in the report Competitors by No. of Deals [CODOPPU_Q0007].
