3417531 - Correspondence for internal documents does not show values for line items for Asset Posting.

Symptom

For Asset Posting (Journal entry type = AA), for correspondence type SAP09 (Internal Document - Entry View) in Create Correspondence app, there is no value displayed for line items.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Access the app Create Correspondence.
  2. Provide the company code.
  3. Select the Correspondence Type as SAP09 (Internal Document - Entry View).
  4. Provide the Journal Entry and Fiscal Year.
  5. Click on Preview.

Cause

For journal entries with JE type = AA (Asset Posting), there is no entry view, only ledger view.

Resolution

Please select the correspondence type "SAP09 (Internal Document - Ledger View)" and provide the ledger to have the line items displayed in the PDF preview.
