The bank statement failed in posting via API with the error message "Balance difference doesn't equal the sum of the bank statement items.", but successfully loaded in app Manage Incoming Payment Files.

This error occurs when the difference between the closing balance and the opening balance does not equal the sum of the bank statement items.

Ensure that minus signs for debits were provided.

If there is a debit, it should look like this:
