3417708 - Error: Uploading ABC file is not supported. Configure the extension type in MIME Type for attachments settings or contact your administrator.

When trying to upload a picture to an Account you see the error message: "Uploading ABC file is not supported. Configure the extension type in MIME Type for attachments settings or contact your administrator".

1. Navigation Menu.
2. Accounts View.
3. Open Account ABC (where ABC is the Account name).
4. Click on account's picture.
5. Click on Change.
6. Add a picture via Browse Files or via Drag and Drop option.
7. Save.
8. See the error message: Uploading ABC file is not supported. Configure the extension type in MIME Type for attachments settings or contact your administrator (where ABC is the file extension).

Uploading of ABC files are not allowed in this tenant (where ABC is the file extension).

To allow the upload of this file type or any others.

1. Go to settings
2. Go to Data administration
3. Go to Mime type for attachments
4. Add the corresponding extensions in the allowed list.
5. Once done, you can retry uploading the picture.
