3417764 - SAP mail is garbled in SAPGUI for Windows with Edge (based on Chromium) browser control

Symptom

When displaying mail in SAPGUI, the following issue occurs: 

  • It's showing some garbled character in Japanese in some field
  • It's showing the text with SAPEVENT, for example "/SAPEVENT: with=80% class="n2"> in some field.  
  • Some field is blank.
