3417803 - Negative Stock Not Permitted in Custodian A Material B

In terms of Serial Number Product, error "Negative stock not permitted in custodian A, material B" occurs when performing undo release for an outbound delivery for spare parts.

1. Go to Outbound Logistics Work Center.
2. Navigate to Outbound Deliveries View.
3. Search for the outbound delivery for spare parts.
4. Choose Actions- Undo Release, then the error would occur.

In shipping business, system would create a reversal Goods and Activity Confirmation(GAC) for standard GAC while performing undo release for outbound delivery.

However, the standard GAC for outbound delivery is not last document in Spare Parts of Service Order Scenario, but standard GAC for service confirmation is.

Therefore, in terms of serial number product, the mentioned error occurs as expected since the serial number is consumed in standard GAC for service confirmation.

You need to reverse the service confirmation by following steps before performing undo release for the outbound delivery.

1. Go to Service Orders Work Center.
2. Navigate to Service Order Processing View.
3. Search for the Service Order.
4. Edit it and go to Document Flow Tab.
5. Open the Service Confirmation.
6. Go to Services and Spare Parts Tab.
7. Select the line of product, select a value for Reason for rejection.
8. Save.

Then the service confirmation for the product would be reversed. After this, you can perform the undo release for the outbound delivery.
