Symptom

You are working with SAP Solution Manager, monitoring ASE DB (version 16.0.04.03 / 16.0.04.04) and some metrics are reporting grey status with error message DPC: No data retrieved from provider E2E_DB_ALERTS_RFC. Affected metrics:

  • ASE Time Since Last Database Dump 
    • DB Dump <SID>
    • DB Dump Other Databases
    • DB Dump System Databases
  • ASE Time Since Last Transaction Dump 
    • Log Dump Other Databases
    • Log Dump saptools
