3418020 - Job Server losing connection frequently - SAP Data Services

Symptom

  • Job Server is losing connection/not running more frequently due some error messages:

    "ADMIN: ERROR: Could not run the job.  The Job server is not responding." - Trace log
    "SRV-210101: d not run. Job Server not responding." - Error Log
    "Job Server Started... (BODI-850036)
    JobServer:  Job server uses <300+3> threads for processing and can handle requests from only <50> Data Integrator Designer applications.
    The number of threads does not include threads necessary for adapter, SNMP and load balance processing. (BODI-850277)" - server_eventlog file
    "Socket Exception: ADDRINUSE at RWSocket::bind. (BODI-850046)" - server_eventlog file

  • Randomly, some Jobs are not running.
  • There is only Productive System to manage the application and tests. There are no Quality or Development system.
