3418426 - After Upgrade Crystal report fails with error 'Function module "/CRYSTAL/RSR_MDX_CREATE_OBJECT" not found.' on Linux

Symptom

  • After upgrading, viewing Crystal reports an error:
    The viewer could not process an event. Error in File Report_Name.rpt:
    Database Connector Error: 'Function module "/CRYSTAL/RSR_MDX_CREATE_OBJECT" not found.' []
    ---- Error code:0 [CRWEB00000119]

  • Scheduling the report fails with error Error in File ~tmp.rpt: Database Connector Error: 'Function module "/CRYSTAL/RSR_MDX_CREATE_OBJECT" not found.'
  • The issue is only in CMC and BI Launchpad and works as expected in the Crystal Report Designer tool.
  • Crystal Reports are based on BW Database (HANA)
