Delete option is disabled (greyed out) in SSCUI 102363 - Define Functional Area.

Deletion of entries is not supported in SSCUI 102363 Define Functional Area.

In Process Navigator, you can check the excel Configuration Activity.xlsm (SAP Customer) where it is mentioned that for SSCUI 102363 Define Functional Area, the column "Delete Customer Records" states "Deletion not supported". 

It is only possible to delete customized functional area using expert configuration for which you need to contact your SAP-facing role, like Product Expert, e-CSP or CSP who will guide you through this process. Note that SAP-delivered functional areas (for example, YB) cannot be deleted.
