3418718 - Create a leave type/bank holiday that lasts less than a half day

You have a requirement where you would like to create a bank holiday that lasts less than a half day.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Business Configuration work center.
2. Go to Overview view.
3. Search for Working Day Calendar activity.
4. Click Change immediately.
5. Click Maintain an existing holiday.
6. Select the relevant holiday calendar.

Currently it is not possible to create a holiday with a duration less than half day, as regular holidays always last a full or at least half day.

This is standard system behavior.

We would suggest that you investigate the possibility of fulfilling your requirement by using an Ad Hoc Time Account.
