3418768 - Error When Trying to Preview a Custom Template for an Opportunity

You have created a custom template and the error below is appearing when trying to preview the Opportunity with this Custom Template:

Form template variant XYZ for language B, A and country/region None not found

XYZ means the Form Template's name.

B means the Language of the Form Template.

A means the Country of the Form Template/Opportunity.

 

SAP Cloud for Customer.

1. Go to the Sales work center.
2. Then go to the Opportunities view.
3. Show all Opportunities and search for the affected ID.
4. Open it by clicking in the Name link.
5. Click Actions > Preview.
6. Select the affected Template.
7. Click Open.
8. Error appears.

The issue is occurring because, you have not maintained the form template country - language variant "A-B" for Opportunity (Where A represents the Country and B represents the Language).
Generally, a form template variant A-B is used by system if the Sender country (of the Sales Unit) is A and Opportunity language (normally the language of the Buyer party) is B.

You need to create a Form Template for the required Country and then the error will no longer occur.
