Symptom

When trying to deploy an application to the Cloud Foundry you receive errors similar to the below:

  • [PollStageAppStatusExecution] [<application>] gzip: stdout: No space left on device (STDERR, STG)
  • [PollStageAppStatusExecution] [<application>]  /usr/bin/tar: /tmp/output-cache: Wrote only xxxxx of xxxx bytes (STDERR, STG)#
  • [PollStageAppStatusExecution] [<application>] /usr/bin/tar: Child returned status 1 (STDERR, STG)#
  • [PollStageAppStatusExecution] [<application>]  /usr/bin/tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting now (STDERR, STG)#"
