Symptom

When trying to deploy an application to the Cloud Foundry, errors similar to the below are found:

  • [PollStageAppStatusExecution] [<application>] /usr/bin/tar: Child returned status 1 (STDERR, STG)#
  • [PollStageAppStatusExecution] [<application>]  /usr/bin/tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting now (STDERR, STG)#"
