3419182 - Comments Not Rendered when Exporting a Story to PDF in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

• Comments are not successfully rendered in a PDF Export of a story.

• SAP Analytics Cloud 2023.21.13

1. Create a Story with a Comment Widget.
2. Add comments to the widget.
3. Export the Story as a PDF.
4. Notice some comments are blank/not being rendered in the generated PDF document.

• The cause of the problem was a style property (background-color set to white) being applied to the text spans in the Comment Widget.
• This style property was making the white text on a white background invisible in the exported text.
• The style property is not required and can only be added if the text is copied from elsewhere.

• The issue of missing text in PDFs exported from the Comment Widget is planned to be resolved in 2024.02.
