3419233 - The Date Formatting displayed in the Live Stories does not match the Date Formatting set in the Profile Settings

• The Date  Formatting displayed in the Live Stories does not match the Date Formatting set in the Profile Settings.
• Date Formatting in the Profile Settings is set to dd-MM-yyyy (e.g. 13-01-2024), but in Live Stories it is displayed as MM/dd/yyyy format (e.g. 01/13/2024).

SAP Analytics Cloud (Enterprise) 

1. Logon to SAP Analytics Cloud
2. Open the story based on a Live data Connection
3. Look for the Date dimension and note that it is displayed as MM/dd/yyyy format (e.g. 01/13/2024)
4. Check your Profile Settings and note that the Date Formatting is set to dd-MM-yyyy format (e.g. 13-01-2024)
5. Change the Date Formatting to dd.MM.yyyy format (e.g. 13.01.2024)
6. Go back to the story and note that the Date dimension is still displayed as MM/dd/yyyy format (e.g. 01/13/2024)

The Date dimension is set to be displayed using the ID.

Set the Date dimension to be displayed using the description.

• In the builder panel, find the desired Date dimension
• Hover over the Date dimension and click the three dots to display more options
• Hover over Display Options
• Click on Description
