3419427 - Send Purchase Order emails to supplier email address maintained in business partner master data - SAP S/4HANA Cloud

The requirement is to send Purchase Order emails to supplier email addresses that are maintained in business partner master data using Output Parameter Determination.

The default email address of the sender (of the output item) is set by the business application. The business application decides the source of this email address. For example, it could be read from a master data address or from a document address.

For Purchase Orders, if there is a requirement to have a TO email determined from the supplier business partner master data email address, maintain a new entry for determination step 'Email Recipients' with type code TO and email address 'Default Email Address' (not as text, please check below set up guide steps).  Also refer to steps provided in 'Chapter 4.2.5  Determining Email Recipient' of Setting Up Output Management - 1LQ Set Up Guide.

1. Open app Output Parameter Determination, select Rules for Purchase Order
2. Under Determination Step, select Email Recipient from the list.
3. On the Maintain Business Rules tab, choose Edit. 
4. On the Table Contents tab, enter a value in the Email Type Code field, TO.
5. On the Email Address field, open the dropdown list and choose Select Expressions.
6. As search criteria, set Application Name to OPD_APOC_SYSTEM and Expression Type to Constant.
7. Choose Search.
8. Select the object Default Email Address and choose OK.
9. Your business rule will now pick up the default email address from the application as TO address.
10. To save your changes, choose Activate.
