3419433 - After Migrating a Contract via the Migration Tool, the Price Component Surcharge (Gross) is Not Visible in the Created Contract

Price component Surcharge (Gross) has not been determined after migration of a contract via the migration template.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Sales Orders work center.
2. Select Contracts view.
3. Show: All Contracts.
4. Search for contract ID ABC (Where ABC represents the contract ID).
5. Click in Edit and go to Pricing and Invoicing tab.
6. Under Pricing - Item Pricing, expand line items.

 You notice that the Surcharge (Gross) is not present in the document.

The reason price component Gross Surcharge is not being passed via the contract migration is due to missing data maintained under Product and Service Portfolio work center  - Surcharges (Gross) sub-view.

In order to determine the Surcharge (Gross) in a migrated contract, you first need to maintain the data under Product and Service Portfolio work center  - Surcharges (Gross) sub-view.

The Surcharge (Gross) can only be determined via the system if a Surcharge (Gross) list is maintained for each combination of sales organization and distribution channel used in a customer contract.

Also, before executing the migration, you need to indicate the values to be passed as Gross by selecting "Gross Migration Template" under the General section of the Migration Template, otherwise, the system will migrate the values as Net.
