3419640 - Error when launching content in Learning: The active license limit has been exceeded

Symptom

When launching content the user receives a message: 

Course is Unavailable
Please contact your system administrator to correct the problem.
Status Code: 400 - The active license limit has been exceeded.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Log into the system as a user >
  2. Navigate to My Learning >
  3. Click the "Start Course" or the "Continue Course" button >
  4. The message will be presented.

Cause

Content code/3rd party license related issue. 

Resolution

The Learning system does not apply any type of content launch restriction. If the content presenting the error is an online content, please contact the developer to review the code. If the content presenting the error message is hosted in a 3rd party server, please contact the server vendor to review licensing.
