3419678 - "Invalid Date Format [YYYY-MM-DDThh:mm:ssZ] in process definition" error - Integration Center

Symptom

An Integration Center inbound (insert) job is failing with the error below:

"ProcessDefinitionValidationException: Process Definiton validation warnings - [outputFields.10.format] Invalid Date Format [YYYY-MM-DDThh:mm:ssZ] in process definition"

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

Cause

You are inserting a value with the date format different than the one expected by Integration Center.

OBS.: To find out which fields the error message refers to, download the job Definition file and search for which fields are expecting the mentioned date format;

Resolution

There are two possible solutions:

  1. Change the date format of the value being inserted to the one indicated by the error message (e.g. YYYY-MM-DDThh:mm:ssZ);
  2. Change the date format expected by the Integration Center job (under Configure Fields tab > Detail View > Select the relevant field > Three lines icon > More Field Options > Set the Format as the value being inserted > OK).
