Symptom
You've created Assignment Rules for page layouts, but although the UI indicates the rule was saved, when accessing the same, the parameters defined are not loaded.
Environment
- SAP Service Cloud Version 2 1.0
- SAP Sales Cloud Version 2 1.0
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to Settings -> Extensibility -> Assignment Rules
- Open the affected Assignment Rule and notice the variables once defined don't load in the UI under Match (ALL/ANY) of the following
Resolution
This matter is solved by deleting the old Assignment rule and recreating it.
- Go to Settings -> Extensibility -> Assignment Rules (see Create and Assign Rules to Page Layouts)
- Delete the faulty Assignment Rule
- Recreate the same Assignment Rule using the same variables
