In SAP Commerce Cloud, the media blob storage can continue to grow over time. This may happen because orphaned media files can remain in the blob storage. The current orphaned media cleanup functionality in Commerce only removes files from the replication folder on the pod, but it does not clean up the blob storage itself.
Additionally, temporary blobs created during cloud media conversion may not always be deleted properly. There may also be other unknown files stored in the blob storage that are not tracked by the Commerce data model.
