3420104 - Unable to Edit Goals in Performance Forms

When users access their performance forms, they don't have the ability to edit goals.

1. Log in to system
2. Navigate to Home dropdown > Performance
3. Select a form
4. Navigate to a goal section and there isn't a pencil icon to edit the goal

• Create permission is missing in the goal plan
• Role-based permissions (RBP) have not been granted for users to access the goal plan (Latest Goal Management Only)
• Allow users to add/remove Goals within the section is not enabled in the performance form

To allow users to add goals to forms:

• If you're using legacy Goal Management, ensure users have the "create" permission in the goal plan template
• If you're using latest Goal Management, ensure users have both the "create" permission in the goal plan template and the role-based permission for the goal plan template.

I. Create permission is missing in the goal plan

As a customer, you do not have access to Provisioning. Please engage a Certified Partner to assist with this configuration.

II. Role-based permissions (RBP) have not been granted for users to access the goal plan (Latest Goal Management Only)

1. Log in to system
2. Navigate to Admin Center > Manage Permission Roles
3. Select role
4. Select Permission...
5. Under User Permissions, select Goals
6. Locate Goal Plan Permissions and select the applicable goal plans
7. Done > Save Changes

III. Allow users to add/remove Goals within the section is not enabled in the performance form

1. Log into system
2. Navigate to Admin Center > Manage Templates
3. Select the Performance Review tab > Select template
4. Select Edit Fields and Sections > Goal Section
5. Select Show advanced options... > Check box for Allow users to add/remove Goals within the section
6. Save
7. Relaunch performance form
