Default Value Rule Doesn't Work While converting a Lead to Opportunity.

2. Click in 'Actions' and try to 'Convert to Opportunity'.

As you opened the Leads TI and clicked the Action button Convert to Opportunity, the default value will not be shown. So only when the quick create screen is launched from the OWL it will apply to default values and won't work if the create screen is launched elsewhere (e.g. TI's like object detailed view, convert screens, etc.).
