3420959 - When trying to "insert new record" in a Custom portlet in employee profile the page keep loading

Users are unable to insert a new record record in a Custom Portlet in Employee Profile.

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

1. Go to Employee Profile.
2. Try clicking on the "Pencil Icon" or "Clock Icon" > Insert New Record > Add on a custom MDF portlet.

• There is a onChange rule that is setting the start date to null.
• PP3 Ui does not support onChange rule on fields like effective start date. So it is not allowed to set the start date as null.

• Either remove the rule or set to some value.
• From MDF side we suggest not to change this field via rule but rather ask the end user to select specific value needed.
