3421452 - Visit List of Route Group Showing No Visits

Symptom

You created a route group successfully and you wonder why the Visit List tab is not showing visits.

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Dynamic Visit Planning work center.
  2. Open the Route Groups view.
  3. Open route group ABC (where ABC is the ID of the route group you created and activated successfully).
  4. Select the Visit List tab.

You see no visits displayed here.

Cause

Visit List is scheduled for generation every 8 minutes.

Visit from Visit List are scheduled for generation every day once at the midnight.

The reason for it is that a user could add/remove or optimize/move the visit list items throughout the day; so visits are not generated along with visit list items. Users are given enough time to work with the generated visit list items before the visits are generated and replicated to SAP Sales Cloud. 

Resolution

This is the system current standard behavior. If the feature/functionality is required urgently, please refer to KBA 3475641 - Functionality Currently not Available.
