3421471 - ADS error: "Error writing output to URL" in background jobs

Symptom

  • In SM21 Syslog you can see the following entry:
    com.adobe.ProcessingException: com.adobe.ProcessingException: No output was generated while rendering 

  • In the default trace you can see the following issue:

    com.adobe.ProcessingException: com.adobe.ProcessingException: No output was generated while rendering: URL for: dest:FP_ICF_DATA_<SID>//sap/bc/fpads/output/<SPOOL00000xxxxx_xxxxxx>.pcl.[Error Log file "<PDF>" written to \\\\sapw<sid>cs\\sapmnt\\<SID>\\SYS\\global\\AdobeDocumentServices\\renderErrorLog\\errorFiles]
